The famous actor, Rowan Atkinson, known to the audience for his role in the comedy series "Mr. Bean", met with sharp public criticism after the party he organized on the occasion of his wife Louise Ford's birthday.
According to the media, the party on the occasion of Louise's 40th birthday was organized by the famous couple in the luxury hotel "Lucknam Park" in the east of England, and residents of neighboring places, which are about eight kilometers away from the hotel, flooded the hotel reception with complaints about noise.
One pet owner, Terri Freeland, said her two dogs panicked so much from the noise that they ran away from her. “For the New Year, you expect fireworks and loud music, so take care of your dogs. I can tell you with certainty that I did not expect something like that on Saturday night in May” - this lady said and added:
“I don't even live near the hotel, the big valley is between the hotel and our place. I was totally scared and it was awful. I don't know what to do” - says the woman who describes this whole event as the worst nightmare.
The birthday fireworks allegedly started around 10 pm, and their sudden sound scared her dog, Bobby, so much so that he ran away! “I wandered around in a housecoat, pajamas, and rubber boots, but while looking for Bobby I lost another dog” - she said, but, fortunately, the dogs returned the next day, in the morning. The newspaper contacted the hotel and the actor's representatives for the media, but they have not yet commented on the alleged incident.
Rowan Atkinson was born on 6 January 1955 in the small town of Consett in the north of England. As he had the highest grades in science at school, he enrolled in electronic engineering at the University of Newcastle and received his master's degree in 1978 from Oxford. He also enrolled in a doctorate but decided to dedicate all his time to acting.
