"Sanditon"- a series that "Bridgerton" fans will adore!

"Bridgerton" has recently officially become the most-watched English-language Netflix series. The second season surpassed expectations and even its own record set by the first chapter. The continuation of the story about the Bridgerton family and the love triangle between Kate and Edwina Sharma and Anthony Bridgerton has been watched for more than 600 million hours on Netflix, and although, likely, we will soon receive confirmation for the next season, until then we have one ultimate suggestion for the series.

If you fell in love with historical dramas set in the so-called Regency era, you should watch the "Sanditon" series. Another story filled with many intrigues and complex family, friendship, and love relationships could delight you even more than Shonda Rhimes' treat.

Currently, three seasons of the series have been released, and although it was supposed to be canceled after the second season, the loud cheers of the fans managed to 'bring it back' for a third chapter. "Sanditon" was inspired by Jane Austen's never finished novel. The first seven chapters were the inspiration for the first episode of the series, and after that creator Andrew Davis himself continued to develop the characters that Austen introduced us to.

The story is set in the small seaside town of Sanditon, where major social changes are taking place. Charlotte Heywood (Rose Williams) enters this already hectic atmosphere and has the best intention of fitting in and discovering the world that Sanditon hides. However, she quickly realizes that the everyday life of this city is permeated with the secrets of the citizens. This unconventional (for the time in which she lives) young woman will soon find herself in the middle of a dizzying romantic affair, and the result is a lavish story just like the one in Bridgerton. Along with Rose Williams, the series also stars Kate Ashfield, Theo James, Kate Ashfield, Crystal Clarke, Alexandra Roach, and others.
