Scarlett Johansson is suing Disney, claiming they violated her contract
The actress has filed charges against Disney because she claims that their actions violated their contract regarding the movie 'Black Widow' to her detriment, and they respond that they helped her.
Actress Scarlett Johansson (36) sued Disney on Thursday, reports People. Allegedly, Disney violated their contract related to the movie “Black Widow” in which Johansson plays the lead role of Natasha Romanoff.
The "Black Widow" recently came to cinemas, but also to the Disney + streaming platform. Johansson claims that her contract with Disney's Marvel Entertainment guaranteed her an exclusive screening of the film in cinemas and that this decision harmed her financially, as she signed a contract in which the main part of her salary depends on the success of the film in cinemas.
