His daughter was studying in Marseille and was convicted of the alleged murder of her friend. She has been in custody for five years, but now there is a new clue that should prove her innocence.
She asks Bill to give her lawyer a note on paper. He finds it difficult to find the busy woman, but she lets him know that it is hopeless. So Bill quickly decides to act on his own.
At the hotel where Bill is staying, he meets Virginie (Camille Cottin), who sleeps there with her daughter before moving into her new apartment. The sympathetic stage actress proves useful when Bill needs language support to tackle his mission. His only clue is the name Akim. And that takes him directly to the most dangerous area in Marseille.
In cinemas from 7/30/2021.
