The animated series "Carol & The End of the World" revealed the first trailer!
How would you spend the last months of your life?
The end of the World is coming in the new trailer for Netflix's animated series "Carol & The End of the World". But we must notice that the titular Carol Kohl is not too thrilled about it. The trailer reveals how the world is doomed because a huge planet is rushing towards Earth and a collision is imminent.
There are still a little more than seven months to live and most people faced with Armageddon have accepted mass hedonism, but not the middle-aged employee Carol (Martha Kelly), who has the same sense of meaninglessness she had before learning about the destruction of the Earth.
Through the series, Carol will try to find meaning in an increasingly chaotic world while trying to connect with her parents, friends, and colleagues at work. We see her wandering the almost deserted streets, driving a motorbike alongside stray dogs, and exploring the farthest corners of the world that are slowly falling apart around her.
In addition to Kelly, Michael Chernus, Bridget Everett, Beth Grant, Lawrence Pressman, Kimberly Hébert Gregory, Mel Rodriguez, and Delbert Hunt provided their voices for the new animated series. Stephen Colbert, Alison Brie, LeVar Burton, Barkhad Abdi, Danny Pudi, Gillian Jacobs, Kurtwood Smith, Laurie Metcalf, and Tim Heidecker will appear in guest roles .
The series was created by Dan Guterman. He is known for his work on "Community" and "Rick and Morty,".Guterman not only created the show but also serves as its executive producer, along with Donick Cary, whose credits include "The Simpsons" and "Parks and Recreation." Kevin Arrieta, known for "Wilfred" and "The Last O.G.," steps in as the co-executive producer.
Namely, the search for meaning will begin s on December 15 when the series "Carol & The End of the World" arrives on Netflix. It sounds promising so don't miss it!
