Hollywood actress who starred in the movie "Disappeared" died in New York, according to American media.
Actress Lisa Banes has died at the age of 65, her spokesperson for Entertainment Tonight confirmed.
- We are so sad because of Lisa's tragic and senseless death. She was a woman of strong spirit, kind and generous, dedicated to working, whether she was on stage or in front of the camera, and even more so to her wife, family, and friends - he said, while her friends confirmed that she died at the hospital June 14.
Lisa was transported to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital in New York after being hit by a scooter while crossing the street. The driver fled the scene of the accident, and the police are still looking for him. The actress's wife Catherine Cranhold, with whom Lisa was supposed to meet on a fateful day, sent a call for help to the public after the actress was hospitalized.
