The fourth season of the "True Detective" series delighted viewers!

The fourth season of the "True Detective" series, which has the subtitle "Night Country" attracted over 2 million viewers on the HBO channel and streaming (HBO Max and Max), its premiere was on January 15, and the popularity continued with the second episode.
Jodie Foster and Kali Reis as Liz Danvers and Evangeline Navarro lead the cast of the tense series, which has a high 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, and in the announcement of the third episode, they continue to investigate the mysterious disappearance of eight men who ran an Arctic research station.

Recall, that the fourth season of the drama series takes us to Alaska, a place of eternal darkness or eternal sun. Detective Liz Danvers ( Foster ) has a mysterious case in front of her when eight men working at the Arctic research station Tsalal disappear without a trace. To solve the case, her former colleague, detective Evangeline Navarro ( Reis ), enters the game. This is a chance for the two of them to work together for the last time and solve a terrible mystery - and one of them is the spiral marks that we saw in the first and third seasons.

In the first episode, the detectives discovered the bodies of several men trapped in the ice, only to find out in the second that one of them is still alive, and the announcement of the third episode continues with the search for the suspect Raymond Clark, one of the eight who is assumed to be still alive. Of course, the discovery of new brutal secrets awaits us again. The investigation of Clark and Annie K and their spiral tattoos leads Evangeline to new discoveries that offer a (potential) connection to the third season, but also to the first, so viewers hope that this connection will be clarified even more with the third episode.

In addition to Foster and Reis, this tense mystery season also stars Finn Bennett, Fiona Shaw, Christopher Eccleston, Isabella Star LaBlanc, and John Hawkes. The showrunner, screenwriter, and director is Issa López.
