The legendary ‘Dirty Dancing’ will experience a big comeback, but many agree that nothing will be the same without Patrick Swayze.
After 35 years since the legendary 'Dirty Dancing' was shown on the movie screen, the sequel to the cult story is coming. The famous actress Jennifer Gray should also appear in it. Lionsgate announced the news during its CinemaCon presentation: 'Jennifer Gray returns to the Kellerman resort in the next chapter', referring to the luxury resort that houses the original 1987 classic.
However, most agree that the film will not be the same without the never regretted Patrick Swayze who passed away prematurely. Namely, the actor lost the battle with a serious illness. Patrick Swayze passed away on September 14, 2009, from pancreatic cancer, and his death has saddened millions of fans around the world.
‘I’ve never been a person who runs away from challenges. But you can bet I'm going through hell, and I'm just at the beginning, ' said the actor in an interview with Barbara Walters. He died at the age of 57 on his ranch near Los Angeles, but it was only later that the terrible conditions in which he spent his last days were revealed, due to the wife he adored.
