American actor Mark Wahlberg (49) was recently photographed on the set of the new film "Father Stu", in which he plays a former boxer who becomes a priest, and because of this role, he had to gain a lot of weight.
But, although you can see the photos from the set of the film, in which Mark looks like he gained 20 kilograms, it was in fact fake. Mark actually put on an "artificial belly" for the occasion.
In order to play a former heavyweight boxer in the film, Mark had to transform. In addition to his larger build, Mark also shaved his head for the role. The actor wore a green polo shirt on the set and later changed into a sweater inspired by the 90s.
"I'm playing a guy who was a fighter, he was a lot of things. He was a fighter, he moved to Los Angeles to become an actor, he fell in love with a girl, he had an accident, he had an out-of-body spiritual experience, so he decided to become a priest" - the actor told TV presenter Jimmy Kimmel (53).
"He died of a rare disease, IBM, but he had a great impact on many people in a very short time" - adds Mark.
The actor, who once worked as a "Calvin Klein" model, is known for his strict regime, his day starts at 3 in the morning, and after prayer, intensive training follows, he admits that he could hardly wait for this role so that he could eat pancakes.
