The host called out the most powerful woman in the fashion world: "She is to blame for the toxicity"
US writer and television presenter Meghan McCain on the American show The View talked about fashion magazine Vogue and its editor Anna Wintour.
"Anna Wintour has a long history of not putting models on their covers, not putting people belonging to other races, and she also has a very problematic picture of how women should look. I think Anna Wintour and Vogue are one of the reasons we have a lot of toxicity in the fashion industry, so I ended up with Vogue for a long, long time, ”Meghan said.
“And I would actually like some of the cultures of responsibility ’or‘ culture of consequences ’, as Sunny calls them, to finally be filtered by both Vogue magazine and Anna Wintour,” she added.
She also commented on the cover of Vogue for August, which featured US First Lady Jill Biden. She thinks that Melania Trump should have been on the cover, who wanted it badly, but it never came true.

"I wasn't a fan of the Trump family, obviously, not even Melania Trump herself. However, no one can deny the fact that she was a fashionable first lady. So if your magazine deals exclusively with fashion, she should have been on that cover as well." said McCain.
“And once again, I really hope Vogue really starts to redeem itself for its deep, intense, racist legacy,” she concluded.
