The Rock was shocked by the pictures of his 'double' that flooded the networks: 'He's way cooler'
Officer Eric Fields became a hit when people noticed he looked remarkably like The Rock
American actor and former professional wrestler Dwayne Johnson, “The Rock,” has spoken out after a picture of his “doppelganger” began circulating on social media.
Last week, an Alabama police officer caught attention after people noticed he looked “identical” to a famous actor.
Many have commented on social media on the “amazing” similarity between Johnson and Officer Eric Fields.
In an interview with AL.com Fields, he said they called him "the child of The Rock and Vin Diesel."
- I accept that, it's fun and it flatters me. I guess it could have been worse, this policeman added.
Johnson, meanwhile, became aware of the growing popularity of his doppelganger and agreed that they looked remarkably similar.
- Oh shit! Wow. Guy on the left is way cooler, Johnson wrote on Twitter, sharing a photo of Fields on the left and he on the right.
- Stay safe brother and thank you for your service. One day we’ll drink Teremana (tequila) and I need to hear all your “Rock stories” because I KNOW you got ‘em, wrote The Rock.
Teremana is, by the way, The Rock's tequila brand, which he launched in 2019.
Fans commented on Johnson’s post and were in turn shocked by the physical similarity of the two.
- I have never seen anyone look like a star like this, wrote one user, and another added: "Wait, so this in the pictures is not just you?".
