After ten years of restarting and halting production on the reboot of the cult supernatural thriller "The Crow", we are back in a new cycle. The question remains whether this time the film will really be able to take off from production because there was in for so long. In any case, it's up to us to deliver fresh news.
In this reboot attempt, Bill Skarsgård should take the main role, under the direction of Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman, Ghost in the Shell). Along with Skarsgård, FKA twigs (Brighton Beach) should also be seen in the film. The reboot was only in pre-production, and the actual production started in June when filming also begin. The script is written by Zach Baylin (King Richard), and the producers are Victor Hadida, Molly Hassell, John Jencks and Edward R. Pressman.

"The Crow" started from the comic type. The comic was written and drawn by James O'Barrin in the late 1980s and it told the dark story of a man – Eric Draven and his fiancee who were attacked and killed by a gang after the couple's car broke down. Years later Draven was resurrected, setting him on a path of revenge against those who took his life and the life of his love. The comic was adapted into a film in 1994 and since then it become a classic. The main role was played by Brandon Lee, who with his performance (but also with his tragic death on the set) significantly contributed to the film's cult status. It is very highly rated on the Rotten Tomatoes site, where it stands at 90% with the audience and 85% with the critics. An entire franchise was born from the film, which so far includes three film sequels (The Crow: City of Angels, The Crow: Salvation, The Crow: Wicked Prayer) and one TV series, "The Crow: Stairway to Heaven".
"The Crow is beautiful, dark, poetic and sometimes disturbing," Sanders said."It is a story about love, loss, grief and revenge. It is a great honor to return to James O'Barr's legendary comic book and reimagine the Crow as the ominous voice of today."
