The Return of a Stumbled Star: Heather Locklear on Fears and Returning to the Cameras
The star of the '90s, who is remembered by viewers for her roles in 'Dynasty' and 'Melrose Place', will have his first role after a long time, in the television film 'Don't Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story'.
After everything that has happened to her in recent years, 59-year-old actress and star of the 90s teen series ‘Melrose Place’, Heather Locklear, has mustered the strength and accepted the role of Kristina Carlson in her new film ‘Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story '.
As she said, although at first she was scared of everything, after a long deliberation she agreed to return to the acting world with a role in a film that will never reach cinemas around the world, since it is intended for television.
‘My biggest challenge was that I was scared of everything,’ Locklear revealed, adding that her most difficult scene, in which she learns that her husband has passed away, was filmed on the second day. In order to better prepare for everything, she met the real Kristine Carlson, based on whose life the film was made, and asked her for advice.
She accepted all her instructions and in the end recorded everything flawlessly. Although she was very afraid of how everything would turn out since she had not recorded or memorized lines for years. But, she says, it’s all like riding a bike, you just don’t forget.
