Third time's the charm: Actress Anna Faris secretly married her fiancé Michael Barrett

'I look around ... to my right is my fiancé, who is now my husband. Yes, we secretly got married ', Faris said during the conversation with the caller and added that it was great.

Although the 44-year-old actress did not share much detail about the wedding, she revealed that the wedding took place in a local courtroom in Washington state.

Faris began a relationship with the 51-year-old cameraman in 2017 after working together on the film ‘My Fake Husband’. They were first spotted together in September, a month after Faris and ex-husband Chris Pratt announced their divorce after eight years of marriage.

The actress told People magazine in May that she had an immediate kind of intimacy with Barrett.

‘We’re both probably introverts in a very similar way. He has two children which turned out great. I really learned a lot about myself through his kids. It was really useful, 'said Faris.

That they got engaged was confirmed last January by her television mom from the sitcom ‘Mommy’, actress Allison Janney, who told Us Weekly they had been engaged for a long time.

During the lockdown, Faris revealed that their family bunch spent on wheels.

‘We bought a camper and traveled with a portable printer for school. Jack dealt with the whole situation like a champion. I just feel very happy that my family is safe, and I think I've never been so present, 'said Faris, who also commented on her experience with marriage last month. She also shared with the listeners the advice she would give to her own son.

‘I don’t know if it will sound too grumpy and cruel, but if I had to tell my eight-year-old son something to stick to, I would really encourage him not to get married in his twenties,’ Faris said in her podcast.
