Three Netflix series that you need to watch!
The best way to spend our evenings is under a warm blanket with one of Netflix’s hit series. We are suggesting the next ones.
We bring you a list of series that will nail you to small screens. Here are our suggestions:
The Circle
The American version of the British reality show 'The Circle' speaks in an intriguing way about human vanity, the need for acceptance, and the false illusion of life made possible by social networks. The reality show concept is conceived as a social network where contestants struggle to win the sympathy of other candidates and a grand prize of $ 100,000.The ‘popularity’ competition takes place from a building where each of the contestants gets an apartment to use. They are not allowed to leave. In isolation from the outside world and from each other, the contestants can communicate with each other exclusively through the social network 'The Circle' and choose how they want to present themselves.
The goal of the game is to become the most popular 'influencer' and avoid 'blocking' or being kicked out of the game by the most popular competitors. Psychological games that contestants play to please each other best show how the image people present on social media often does not follow real life.
Sex Education
This British comic drama is one of the series that we would love to had when we were teenagers. It premiered in 2019 and recently the third season arrived on Netflix. The series follows the adventures of the main character Otis Milburn and his friends who begin to explore their sexuality when they enter puberty, and Otis' mother, who is a sex therapist by profession. What excites at first is the authenticity of the series in terms of theme and production performance. The series was filmed without any hesitation or censorship, so expect vividly evoked sex scenes and a lot of nudity.
The topics that the main characters question in the series are sometimes exactly the questions we ourselves wanted to ask someone their age. Issues of identity, sexuality and even sex itself represent the true educational value of this series. The Internet has certainly made it much easier for young people today to explore the world around them, including their own sexuality, but this series humorously portrays all the beautiful and difficult moments that come with emotional and sexual maturation.
Ozark
The long-awaited last season of the popular series has just arrived on Netflix. Full of difficult and painful scenes, the series follows the life of financial advisor Martin Byrde and his family, who, thanks to his bad business decisions, remain indebted to the Mexican drug cartel. To save the lives of himself and his family, Martin agrees to launder money for the cartel.
The new job soon swallows the whole family, and with each new episode, more and more turbulence emerges in their relationship. The fourth season continues to the uncertain end of the third season in which Martin and Wendy narrowly escaped death by their boss, cartel leader Omar Navarro.
We hope you will enjoy it!
