Legendary actress Joan Collins (88) recalled her unforgettable encounter with Princess Diana whose tragic death many people will never forget.

She says the day after she and Diana met, all the tabloids had headlines that Dynasty's Di met Alexis. Namely, 'Dynasty' was a soap opera that got Collins famous and in which she embodied the villain Alexis Carrington Colby. As the actress explained, the princess wore very similar clothes as her character, so she got a nickname associated with the series.

Joan cried for days after Diana died, and she was that sad only when her parents passed away and US President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.
‘ I can’t think of anyone who was so popular. Of course, Queen Elizabeth is quite popular, but Diana was a phenomenon, ' she explained.
