Video of Adam Levine's onstage reaction after a fan grabbed him became viral: His colleague had an even worse incident

Adam Levine, 42, experienced an incident Saturday at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles during the annual ‘We Can Survive’ concert dedicated to raising awareness about the fight against breast cancer.

Namely, while the frontman of the band Maroon 5 sang 'Sunday Morning', a fan climbed on stage and grabbed his arm. Security soon intervened and removed her, after which Adam said, 'What a f**k,' and shook his hands angrily.

TikTok user Luis Penaloza posted footage of the incident and garnered more than 800,000 views and about 44,000 comments. Some interpreted the singer’s move after being touched by a fan as being disgusted and considering himself ‘above her’.

Adam spoke about these criticisms in the recordings on the Instagram story. "I have always been someone that loves, respects, worships our fans. Without our fans, we don't have a job. I say that all the time, to our fans. To think that anyone would believe that I thought that our fans were beneath us, or less than us, makes my stomach turn. That's just not who I am. That's not who I've ever been", he said and sent a kiss to the fans.

By the way, Harry Styles experienced embarrassment in 2017 at the ‘We Can Survive’ show as well. As he was singing, one person grabbed him by the crotch after which he stopped with the performance, removed his hands from himself, and moved to another part of the stage. Footage of the incident has appalled the public, and many have pointed out that there's hypocrisy when men are abused and the seriousness of such events is diminished.

Harry Styles was sexually assaulted during a show, stop calling it groping or caressing. It is Sexual Assault ',' Disgusting! ',' Sexual assault is never okay. There should be no double standards depending on gender. Sexual abuse is sexual abuse ', were some of the comments from fans on Twitter.

Singer Khalid backed up to Harry and said that grabbing his crotch and generally touching without consent was completely wrong. He pointed out that despite this, musicians regularly get grabbed during performances, but also when meeting with fans.
