Queen Elizabeth II (95) unexpectedly canceled a trip to Glasgow where she was supposed to attend the UN COP26 conference on climate. Prince Charles and William will go there instead, and she will send a recorded video message.
Namely, Buckingham Palace has not yet announced why the Queen will not appear at the conference but has only written that she must follow the doctor's instructions and rest.
Recall, Elizabeth II spent one night in the hospital last week to undergo some essential check-ups, spokesmen said at the time.
From the palace, they repeat that she is feeling well and needs to rest. Due to medical instructions, the Queen recently also canceled her trip to Northern Ireland.

On Tuesday, October 26, Elizabeth II returned to official duties and held a virtual audience for ambassadors accredited to the UK. There she appeared smiling, in a yellow outfit, in front of guests who were in Buckingham, in central London. It was her first public appearance since October 19th.
