After 5 years HBO's hit series is getting a new season!

Believe it or not, the series "Big Little Lies", whose last episode was released in 2019, is returning to the small screen. Although the producers claimed that the second season was over, actress Nicole Kidman revealed that there will be a new one. We didn't expect something like this!

"I loved Big Little Lies because it kind of came at a time in my life when I had kids and thought I was going to retire, and then there was a situation where Reese Witherspoon and I were able to produce that show," Kidman explained at one event, thanking the audience for supporting the series, which was a great success.

"We will bring you the third season, just for your information," she added to the delight of those present. So now, it is official. The third season is coming!

Her opinion was then confirmed by the head of HBO, Casey Bloys. “I think the thing about Big Little Lies is that you have a group of people who all really love working together, but obviously they're some of the most remarkable people working in the entertainment industry. Reese, Nicole, Zoe, and Laura, are all very busy. It would be great to get a team together at some point, but right now everyone is so busy and we don't have any ideas."  he stated.

Almost five years ago, the second season of the HBO crime drama was released. The second season received a lot of praise from critics, especially for the script, direction, acting, production values, cinematography and soundtrack. The quality of the series is evidenced by the fact that the first season received as many as 16 nominations for the Emmy Awards and won eight of them.
