After anti-vax tweets, the famous rapper Nicki Minaj contracted coronavirus: 'I will get vaccinated for travel'

Famous American rapper Nicki Minaj had to miss the Met Gala because she contracted COVID-19. The 38-year-old rapper revealed on social media that she was positive for coronavirus, and she also told her fans that she is still "conducting research" on the vaccine.

She also lashed out at Met Gale organizers over their vaccination policy. “If I get vaccinated, it won’t be for the Met Gala,” the musician said. But later she explained that she would get vaccinated when needed for travel and touring. “I’ll do that when I’ve researched the whole thing enough,” she added.

After that, things got even crazier because she shared with fans the information that “her cousin’s friend” became “impotent” after being vaccinated and that his testicles were allegedly swollen. Medical experts quickly refuted her allegations. “It is not true that the COVID-19 vaccine is associated with infertility, in either men or women,” Dr. Leana Wen said.

When fans complained that they had not seen her in public for almost a year, she told them that she had a small child and that she did not have a nanny during the coronavirus pandemic. She also added that she did not want to risk her health just to "be seen at events."
