The presenter of The One Show was given to a trip to Paris.
Alex Jones experienced one of the most memorable birthday weekends ever, thanks to her husband Charlie Thomson, who whisked her away to Paris.
During the vacation, the host of The One Show posted some rare images of herself and her husband, and they seemed quite happy. Alex lovingly put her head on her husband's shoulder as they smiled for the camera with the River Seine extending out behind them in one romantic photograph. Alex looked stunning in a red top and a leather jacket, while Charlie looked dashing in a green coat and a black T-shirt.
The mother-of-three also stated that the couple engaged in a highly romantic activity when visiting the Pont des Arts, a bridge where couples tie padlocks to the railing and throw the key into the river below to symbolize their devotion to one another.
Alex also uploaded some images from outside the Louvre, as well as another shot of her and Charlie hugging in front of the Eiffel Tower, like visitors do.
The couple's love shined through in all of the images, even though Alex didn't annotate them from her Parisian excursion.
Charlie made sure to pull out all the stops as the presenter gave an intimate glance inside her festivities shortly after Alex turned 45 on Thursday, and Charlie made sure to draw out all the stops as the broadcaster offered an intimate peek inside her celebrations.
After a glamorous supper, she shared a lovely black and white photo of herself clutching, what appears to be, a birthday doughnut with a giant candle protruding out the top on Instagram.
She added in the caption of the breathtaking photo: "Thank you to everyone of my friends and family for contributing to such a wonderful day. My husband has planned a surprise overnight date for me. I have half an hour to pack and have no idea what I'm going to put in!!!!"
Birthday greetings from friends and followers filled the comments section of the article, as predicted. With a red love heart, Countryfile host Anita Rani added, "Happy birthday wonderful woman."

Alex used Instagram Stories to document the build-up to the thrilling surprise date night. "Where are we going?" she asks in the video. "I can't tell you," Charlie said, shaking his head.
