Aniston: 'We were messed up by this gathering, 16 years is a lot'

Jennifer Aniston (52) in the series ‘Friends’ embodied Rachel Green. In May this year, a special episode was finally shown, which was filmed in the midst of the corona virus pandemic, so the date of its publication was postponed several times.
In the podcast 'Literally! With Rob Lowe ’she commented that reuniting the entire team from the set of the series was emotionally harder than she thought. Jennifer, Courteney Cox (57), Lisa Kudrow (58), Matt LeBlanc (54), Matthew Perry (52) and David Schwimmer (54) were nominated for three Emmys for that episode.
She thought filming would be fun because a lot of years had passed so she would only look back a little at everything that happened during filming, and in fact, when she saw the virtual unchanged set, she broke down because she realized how much time had passed.
- I think that the gathering upset us because you think it will be great to see how time has passed. And it’s actually hard when you see that time has passed. Everything was in the same place as we left it. Even the smallest details have been preserved all this time. A lot has happened in 16 years, ”Jennifer said.
Although celebrity reunion brought excitement to fans, and in an interview with Corden it was revealed that Aniston liked Schwimmer, fans mostly watched a special episode just to see six friends in the same place again.
