AORUS Project Stealth, from ASUS
There was a time when the design of personal computers was the most boring in the world. Today, projects like ASUS's AORUS Project Stealth demonstrate how important aesthetics have become when purchasing or assembling a computer.
Transparent sides, LED lighting systems, adapters for inclined graphics card mounting… the number of aesthetic customization options has grown exponentially in recent years.
However, there is a typical issue when it comes to making the interior of the PC meet our aesthetic standards: the cords.
You can try to make a portion of its path run through the corners of the tower, collect them with cable ties so they are not scattered, look for cables with more appealing designs or try to customize them… but in the end, when looking inside, you will always find cables that detract from the overall set.
That is something that ASUS AORUS Project Stealth can prevent.
AORUS Project Stealth is made up of three aspects that were carefully developed with this in mind, and we're talking about the most important components in these circumstances: motherboard, graphics card, and tower.
By integrating these three pieces, connectors and cables are hidden from view through the glass window on the left side of the tower. The change is significant, as demonstrated in the video below.
As you can see, the AORUS Project Stealth proposal is not only visually appealing but also includes a very practical organization scheme that aids both PC assembly and component installation and replacement.
The kit includes all of the connections required for a gaming PC, with the only difference being that your connections will be considerably more organized than on a conventional PC.
This gives AORUS Project Stealth an extra benefit over normal mounting techniques in that by making the cables cross the interior of the tower, we will be clearing the space through which we wish to create the flow of energy.
PC air intake and exhaust. We must also lower the surface of the interior of the PC where dust and other substances that have a terrible habit of seeking to accumulate inside PCs can accumulate.
The motherboard in the kit is a Z690 AORUS ELITE STEALTH, which uses the Z690 chipset and features an LGA1700 socket, indicating that the AORUS Project Stealth is a kit developed exclusively for Alder Lake.
Its main distinguishing feature is that it incorporates all of the necessary connectors such that they are accessible from the rear of the board.
And this is where the tower's design comes into play, facilitating the establishment of vital connections such as access to them, which remain hidden the rest of the time.
The GeForce RTX 3070 GAMING OC STEALTH graphics card rounds off AORUS Project Stealth, which has definitely been altered from ordinary models to conceal its twelve-pin connector.
This cleansing of the interior also helps, and this is critical, the installation of complex refrigeration systems, which will no longer have to compete for space with cables.
