AVM with new All-in-One Flagship

AVM already has a large assortment of all-in-one devices (or CD network receivers). The new, particularly exclusive Ovation CS 8.3 Black Edition, which costs roughly 15,000 dollars, has now been added to this product line.

AVM, based in Malsch, Germany, introduces the Ovation CS 8.3 Black Edition, a new gadget to the upper end of their all-in-one lineup. According to AVM, the new all-in-one includes a top selection of the latest ESS DAC as well as tubes specifically made for the Black Edition.

These are located in the preamplifier area, and the signal is delivered via new, internal silver wirings and WBT speaker outputs. As a result, AVM states that the CS 8.3 Black Edition aspires to set new sound standards.

The appearance of this "High Performance" edition of AVM's previously leading all-in-one is also expected to be dramatically different: As a result, all control knobs and buttons are completely black, and the lid bears the distinctive "Black Edition" writing.

The AVM Ovation CS 8.3 Black Edition is expected to be available in April* for roughly $15,000*.

Warwick Acoustics enters the "Car Hi-Fi" Market

Warwick Acoustics, a British manufacturer, was formerly recognized for its distinctive electrostatic headphones; using this technology as a foundation, Warwick now intends to build in-car audio systems.

Warwick's new "ElectroAcoustic Panel" is an electrostatic loudspeaker built exclusively for placement in vehicles, and it is the world's first in-car loudspeaker to use this transducer design. This technique, according to the company, has been researched and developed over a 5-year period and is supposed to deliver the best audio attributes of electrostatic headphones.

Furthermore, the electrostatic speakers are supposed to be up to 75% lighter and utilize equal amounts of power as conventional in-car speakers; they are also said to be made of upcycled and recyclable materials and do not require non-sustainable rare earth elements.

The "ElectroAcoustic Panels" are made up of a patented electrostatic driver and a corresponding electrical drive module. According to Warwick, they can be molded into various form factors, allowing automobile makers a great deal of flexibility in speaker placement and design.
