Beyonce opened up about the dark side of showbiz and the shocking consequences that fame left on her health

While many would think her life is perfect, music diva Beyonce has experienced some of the worst consequences of show business on her own skin in recent years.

This is exactly what she talked about in a big interview for the September issue of the American issue of the fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar, on the cover of which she appeared, and in her confession, she revealed the details of the dark side of fame.

The mega-successful 39-year-old singer and entrepreneur does not hide that it is not easy for her to reconcile business and motherly obligations, but also to protect her privacy on which the quality of her life depends.

In this business so much of your life does not belong to you unless you fight for it. I struggled to protect my sanity and privacy because the quality of my life depends on it. I am reserved, except for the people I love and trust. Believe me, the reason why people don't see certain things about me is that the Virgo in me doesn't want them to see it, not because it doesn't exist, 'said the singer of the hit ' Single Ladies'.

Given that she is constantly on the move and raising three young children - a nine-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and four-year-old twins Rumi and Sira, the wife of the musician Jay Z has admitted that sheer commitments have left a mark on her health.

‘I think, like many women, I felt pressured to be the backbone of my family and my company and I didn’t realize how much it affected my mental and physical well-being. I haven't always been a priority for myself ', she recalled and revealed what a problem she has been dealing with for years.

I’ve been battling insomnia over touring for more than half my life. There are also years of muscle wasting due to dancing in heels. Also, stress on my hair and skin, from sprays and dyes, the heat of curlers and wearing heavy makeup while sweating on stage… ', said the musician, adding that she tries to be surrounded by people who are honest and from whom she can learn something.

By the way, Beyonce has been struggling with excess weight all her life, and she only recently accepted her curves. Throughout her career, she has been on numerous and, as she points out, unnecessary diets, and her appearance was her number one priority for a long time.

That she suffered a lot for her flawless appearance, she confirmed three years ago when, on the eve of the Coachella music festival, she admitted in a video on her YouTube channel that she was hungry for days because of the rigorous diet she was practicing at the time.

"My health, the way I feel in the morning when I wake up, peace of mind, the number of smiles during the day, what I feed my mind and body with - these are the things I focused on," concluded one of the most successful singers in the world.
