Jamie denies these claims, writes the Belfast Telegraph, and now in a written statement he has denied that he "conducted or approved" the illegal recording of his daughter. “I have been informed of Britney's lawyer's allegations that a listening device or 'bug' was placed in her bedroom for surveillance purposes during the period I had custody of my daughter. This claim is false. I have never exercised or permitted any supervision over Britney's bedroom at any time, including the period of custody," he said in his written address.
