Catherine and William told their son that he would become the king when he turned only seven!
They told him the news when he was only 7!
Little Prince George has just turned eight, but it is already known what the future will bring him. After his great-grandmother Elizabeth, grandfather Charles and father William he should become King of Great Britain.
His family did not reveal this to him until his seventh birthday, and author Robert Lacey revealed in a new chapter of his book Battle of Brothers how Prince William and Catherine Middleton approached their son with this information.
"William did not publicly reveal how and when he relayed the news to his son. Maybe one day George will tell us. But it is believed that around his seventh birthday, in the summer of 2020, his parents decided to explain his details to the little prince in more detail future duties,” Lacey states.
“William as a father is trying to ensure his son a normal childhood and allow the monarchy to keep up with modern times,” he added.
Last year, one royal expert claimed that George was aware that he was different from his sister and brother because he often spent time alone with his grandfather, Prince Charles, and great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.
