Charlize Theron has a new image
Charlize Theron has a new image due to her role in the film.
Charlize Theron (46) changed her image because of the new film, and it was her skillful transformations that made her famous throughout her acting career. The actress appeared this Sunday in Los Angeles for the ceremony of her Africa Outreach Project Foundation. Charlize launched CTAOP in 2007 to raise the world about HIV and help fight the disease in her native South Africa.
Theron revealed that she dyed her distinctive blonde hair black, and she did so because of her role in the movie ‘Old Guard 2’. She had loose hair that she fastened with a clasp, and she wore a more casual outfit, jeans, and a white shirt.

By the way, Charlize was called 'the queen of transformations' by many when she completely transformed due to the 2003 film 'Monster'. For that role, she also won the Oscar for Best Leading Actress, which was completely deserved, as fans and film critics commented.
Theron gained 13 pounds for the role. ‘I tried to transform most of my career into characters. This was just more extreme. I had three months to gain weight. We never discussed how many pounds I would gain. It wasn't that hard. I just didn’t say ‘no’ to donuts or anything else caloric. I also stopped rehearsing, ' said the actress.
In addition to gaining weight for the role, makeup was also very important. They intensified the effect of oily hair, washed tattoos, and various prosthetics were used to make her mouth look wider and to have a rotten tooth. She also wore lenses that changed her blue eyes to brown.
Charlize also transformed for the 2018 film ‘Tully’ when she embodied a mother of three overweight children who are unhappy with her life. Theron gained 23 pounds for Tully’s character, and then she talked about how an unhealthy diet affected her mental health.
'I wanted to feel like that woman and I think that kind of diet brought me closer to that mindset," she said. But she was not prepared for the mental health consequences.
'I was depressed. For the first time in my life, I ate so many processed foods and drank too many drinks full of sugar. It wasn't fun to be around me filming that movie, ' said Theron.
