Comic book games you can look forward to
Gotham Knights
Scheduled release: October 25, 2022
Batman is no longer alive. As Gotham's greatest protector is no longer there, he joins the rest of the family in facing a new threat.
The protagonists of this two-player cooperative experience will be Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Red Hood. The heroic trio will fight the Court of Owls, a hidden club, and other well-known adversaries.
Despite having numerous parallels, Gotham Knights have its own tale that is distinct from the Arkham game world. We would not be surprised if Batman was not "as dead" as the authors claim.
Marvel's Midnight Suns
Scheduled release: coming soon
The Firaxis studio, known for its XCOM and Civilization series games, is working on another move-oriented action game. This time, we're looking at Marvel comics.
As Hunter, you will lead a team of various superheroes such as Captain America, Doctor Strange, and Wolverine. Magik, Nico Minoru, and Blade also appear.
However, it will not be a repackaged version of XCOM. We're excited for a strategic RPG that mixes turn-based gameplay with powers executed using a deck of random cards. It's also worth emphasizing the promised chance to uncover your headquarters and interact with the characters.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2
Scheduled release: unknown
Although his moniker implies that he will be the "second" Spider-Man, the Insomniac company launched Miles Morales as a sequel to the unit when the PlayStation 5 was released. It continued the plot of the original 2018 game.
In Spider-Man 2, both Miles and Peter will encounter one of Spidey's most lethal foes, Venom.
Although the trailer shows both heroes, Spider-Man 2 is intended to be a single-player experience. However, it is not ruled out that the game will be enhanced with the ability for players to switch between characters at their leisure or during specific circumstances.
