COMING SOON: "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes"
A new kingdom is on the horizon.
The first trailer for "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" arrives six years after the movie "War for the Planet of the Apes". In this movie, we had a chance to see what a new world looks like when humans are no longer the dominant species.
In the trailer, we can also see several new faces that will appear in the latest part of this popular franchise, based on the novel by Pierre Boulle. Owen Teague joined the cast and this time he will play Cornelius, Caesar's son and chief primate. The film will follow him as he moves through this new world, in which the rules of nature have returned, and humanity has been banished to the shadows.
The director of this movie Wes Ball has breathed new life into the global, epic sci-fi franchise. He describes several generations in the future after Caesar's reign, where apes are the dominant species living in harmony, and this time humans are reduced to living in the shadows.

The official synopsis of the film says: " As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his kingdom, a young ape embarks on an arduous journey that will lead him to question everything he knows about the past and make choices that will define the future of apes and humans. "
Over time, this franchise has become one of the world's phenomena, and to date has earned over two billion dollars. Disney bought 20th Century Fox in April 2019, so we are not surprised that they decided to make more Planet of the Apes movies. We just hope they treat this franchise better than the others under their ownership.
