David and Victoria celebrated their wedding anniversary

When their relationship first started, neither of them expected much. Victoria Beckham also referred to this fact when she congratulated her husband David on social media on their 23rd wedding anniversary.

'They say he isn’t funny, they say I never smile, they said it wouldn’t last. Today we celebrate 23 years of being married. David, you are my everything, I love you so much!!!!' wrote Victoria in a description of a joint photo on Instagram.

The couple proved otherwise and stayed together for almost a quarter of a century and they have four children together. They survived ups and downs, and even his adultery, and they never hid their problems.

Victoria and David celebrated their anniversary in even two cities. These cities are considered the most romantic in the world: Paris and Venice. On Instagram, Victoria shared a photo showing how the couple enjoyed a romantic dinner in Paris, with the Eiffel Tower in the background, and they posed hugging each other before going out.

David, on the other hand, revealed that he had ordered a 'special bottle' for the special evening, but did not reveal what they drank.

After Paris, the couple continued to Venice, where the paparazzi caught them during a gondola ride, and judging by the photos, they are in love like on the first day.

Let's remind you, the young footballer David then noticed a member of the popular group 'Spice Girls', Victoria with the nickname Posh Spice, on television and immediately fell in love with her. He got down on one knee only a year after they met, in January 1998. and he proposed with a ring that reportedly contained 96 diamonds and cost £200,000. They celebrated their engagement in Marbella, Spain.

They got married in 1999 in Ireland, and the wedding was held in Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin. Victoria wore a wedding dress by Vera Wang, and her colleagues from the band 'Spice Girls', as well as Bobby Charlton and David Seaman sang for them.
