Dax Shepherd About His Famous Ex Girlfriend
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepherd have always been open about their long-term relationship, both before and after they married, but it turns out there's still a lot more that fans aren't aware of.
On his Armchair Expert podcast, the father-of-two revealed a pre-Kristen affair he had with a well-known celebrity.
Dax admitted to dating Ashley Olsen and had nothing but positive things to say about her.
While discussing Ashley's clothing company, The Row, which she co-founded with her twin sister Mary-Kate Olsen, he revealed the news.
He went on to say: "She's the sweetest person I've ever met. She's amazing, "He confessed to dating her 15 or 16 years ago.
"She was putting all her attention and effort into launching that hugely," he continued, referring to her clothing brand at the time.
"So, I was able to witness her meet with design teams and, like, run her [crap] and she managed her business, and it's extremely incredible," Dax said of her entrepreneurial focus.
He disclosed more about Ashley and Mary's personalities, including the fact that they are both introverts "very witty, snarky, and perceptive. They're also big [expletive] bosses "..
Dax stated they met at a party and he was "thunderstruck" by her beauty when asked how they met.
Dax and his wife Kristen have two kids, Lincoln and Delta, and have been married since 2013.
After Dax and Ashley's brief relationship, they met. Kristen was hesitant at the start of their relationship since her future husband had been in an open relationship for a long time and was also battling addiction.
When describing the early years of his romance with Kristen, he admitted on The Drew Barrymore Show, "There was a lot of envy, for really reasonable reasons."
"I had been in an open relationship for nine years and had been blacked out for a significant portion of that time. There were a lot of things to be concerned about for her [Kristen]."
But the pair did more than make it work, and they've been married since they walked down the aisle, and they're now one of Hollywood's biggest success stories thanks to treatment and hard work.
