Denim experts claim that jeans should never be washed
Some people cannot imagine not washing their clothes, especially those which they wear almost every day. That is why the statements of one jeans expert caused great controversy.
CEO of Levi's Chip Bergh's statement will certainly provoke divided reactions. Namely, in his opinion, jeans should not be washed - ever. If this thought makes you feel uncomfortable, Bergh still has a solution with which the jeans will still be clean.
Namely, all stains on jeans should be cleaned with a toothbrush and completely avoid washing in the washing machine. Many people automatically throw their jeans into the laundry hamper after just a few wears, and in fact, this quality material does not require (almost) any washing.

Bergh is not the only expert with such an opinion, so the Hiut Denim website says that it is best to "let the jeans be" six months before the first wash, that is, the longer you can leave them unwashed, the better the jeans will look.
Namely, jeans will be naturally "damaged" due to sitting, holding a mobile phone, and hands in their pockets, and thus they will get a "cool" look. If you wash them after a long time, they will look even better because they will be "worn out" on those parts, which is why they will look cool, and that is exactly the magic of good jeans, they claim.
Next time, instead of putting them in the washing machine, listen to one of the experts' advice: put them in the freezer overnight to get rid of bacteria or leave them in the air for a few hours.
