Do you know that feeling when your 'hair hurts'? There is an explanation

It is completely okay to be lazy when it comes to washing long hair daily, so we often resort to a tight, high bun, so that it looks somehow decent. And then after half a working day - the hair starts to hurt! Yes, hair hurts. Who hasn’t felt it, doesn’t know what we’re talking about. Although logic dictates that it is absolutely impossible for hair to hurt, it does happen!

It all starts from the scalp and "impact" on the hair. As things stand - you take half the blame yourself and half the blame goes to your body.

Not washing your hair or naturally oily hair can result in the accumulation of sebum at the root of the scalp. It causes inflammation and itching, and even pain. If you scratch yourself, you will cause the release of chemicals, which will ignite the whole scalp. More blood will be found in that part of the head, so there is a pulsating pain.

Okay, so why does the hair hurt the day after washing?

Hair products such as creams, dry shampoos, hairspray can cause pain… Oil and dirt accumulate in the chemicals from these products which simply stay in our hair. Luckily,  painful scalp or hair can be easily cured.

Wash your hair enough times a week, ie do not wait a week to wash off all the products.

Use as few heavy hair products as possible that will "suffocate" it, avoid tight hairstyles, and use shampoos that break down fats.
