The cult film "Dirty Dancing" premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 1987, and in cinemas around the world on August 21 of the same year. To this day, it has retained the status of one of the most popular films of all time, and a large audience continues to talk about it.

The plot of the film follows a love story between Frances “Baby” Houseman who comes from a wealthy family and dance instructor Johnny Castle. Thanks to the couple’s love story, Jennifer Gray and Patrick Swayze became one of the most popular actors of the time.

The screenplay was written by Eleanor Bergstein based on her own childhood experiences back in 1985, but she went through a real production hell. It took several years and a few changes in production for the film to see the light of day, but although it took a long time to finish everything, the end result was better than expected.

The memorable song "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" won an Oscar for Best Song, two Golden Globes and a Grammy Award. In recent years, several sequels and adaptations of the film "Dirty Dancing" have been published, but none of them received as much attention from the audience as the original.

Once a favorite Hollywood sweetheart Jennifer Gray has been the center of attention over the years due to numerous plastic surgeries. Two years after the success of “Dirty Dancing,” Gray underwent two nose surgeries, which proved to be a huge mistake. She herself stated that she entered the operating room as a star and left it as an anonymous person because the operations completely changed her appearance, which is why Hollywood slowly began to lose interest in her.

In the summer of 2000, she began a romance with American presenter and actor Clark Gregg, whom she married a year later. They got a daughter Stella in marriage and spent 19 years together, and in July last year, they announced they were divorcing.

Patrick Swayze tragically passed away in 2009 from cancer, and the whole family was with him until the last minute. The never-forgotten actor had an enviable career after "Dirty Dancing" and appeared in numerous blockbusters. He was also involved in music, and it was for "Dirty Dancing" that he wrote and recorded the song "She's Like the Wind".

The love life of this handsome man was full of happiness, and he was married to Lisa Niemi from 1975 until his death. They spent 34 wonderful years together but had no children.
