"Fallout" - The long-awaited teaser trailer is out!

Prime Video released a photo gallery from the post-apocalyptic "Fallout" series a few days ago, and now the long-awaited first teaser trailer has finally been released as part of CCXP. We must admit that this looks very promising. The creators and executive producers of the series are Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy (Westworld), with Nolan who is directing the first three episodes. The showrunners and executive producers are Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel, Tomb Raider) and Graham Wagner (Silicon Valley, The Office), and the executive producers are key Bethesda people: Todd Howard and James Altman, which is also a big plus.

What can we expect?

Nuclear war breaks out across the Earth in the year 2077 – the age of robots, hovering cars, and a deep and abiding nostalgia for 1940s America. After the flaming mushroom clouds, the story goes 219 years into the future. How did humanity survive in those two centuries? Lucy has no idea. She has lived her entire life inside the underground Vault, where almost every need and desire of hers is satisfied, while generations and generations wait for the day when it will be safe to surface again. When a crisis forces Lucy to embark on a rescue mission, she discovers that the planet above remains a hellish landscape full of giant insects, voracious mutant animal abominations, and malevolent human populations.

The story focuses on three characters, Lucy, Maximus, and The Ghoul. Ella Purnell portrayed Lucy, an optimistic member of Vault 33. Kyle MacLachlan portrays her father, the supervisor of Vault 33, who wants to change the world for the better. Aaron Moten portrays Maximus, a member of the militaristic Brotherhood of Steel faction, while Walton Goggins is The Ghoul, a ruthless and honorable bounty hunter who was turned by radiation into a creature over 100 years old.

In the other roles are Sarita Choudhury (Jessica Jones), Michael Emerson (Lost), Leslie Uggams (Deadpool), Zach Cherry (Severance), and Xelia Mendes-Jones (The Wheel of Time).

Fallout premieres on Prime Video on April 12, 2024 .
