First look at the "Agatha: Darkhold Diaries" series
"Agatha: Darkhold Diaries" is a spin-off of the WandaVision series, starring Kathryn Hahn.
It's been a while since we saw Agatha Harkness. And it will be almost a year before she returns to the small screen in "Agatha: Darkhold Diaries", a spin-off of the WandaVision series. In this spin-off, Kathryn Hahn is starring. But if you're excited about the return of Agatha Harkness, then we have good news, as the first look at "Agatha: Darkhold Diaries" has just been released.
This is bonus content for the upcoming Blu-ray edition of the WandaVision series, that is, short behind-the-scenes clips that can be seen during interviews. In them, Hahn films scenes in front of the cameras in a new costume, which is inspired by her appearance in the comics when she came back from the dead. Also, it should be taken into account that the mentioned clips are only from the first three episodes of a total of nine.
The series, which is based on the events of the WandaVision series, brings back Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, a comic book villain who first debuted in Fantastic Four but became Wanda's adversary on TV. Her portrayal of the character was so well received by fans that she became the first villain other than Loki to get her own Marvel and Disney project without having to earn $1 billion first.
Along with Hahn, Emma Caulfield Ford, and Debra Jo Rupp reprise their roles as Dottie and Mrs. Hart from the WandaVision series. Joining them in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are Aubrey Plaza as the powerful witch Rio Vidal, Joe Locke who is believed to be portraying Billy Kaplan aka Wiccan (Scarlet Witch and Vision's son), Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata as the sorceress Jennifer Kale and Patti LuPone like Lilia Caldera. The executive producer, main screenwriter, and one of the directors of the series is Jac Schaeffer, while the other workers are Gandja Monteiro and Rachel Goldberg.
Wanda Maximoff is rumored to be 'symbolically' dead in the show. However, Elizabeth Olsen will not appear, unless she is later added for the post-credits scene.
Although the series was originally supposed to arrive on the Disney Plus platform this year, we will still have to wait until the fall of 2024 .
