Filming of the Turkish series Ataturk begins
Disney Plus digital platform starts new projects in Turkey. One of them is the Ataturk series, which will tell the story of an important historical figure in that country.
Berk Cankat, who was spotted yesterday by journalists on the streets of Istanbul, gave a short interview in which he talked about the Ataturk series. The actor confirmed that the shooting of this new project in which he will appear will begin by the end of this week. Cankat had his last role in the digital series. It is about the project of Aslinda Ozgursun, whose action is based on the novel of the same name by the feminist writer Duygu Asena. That series was recorded for the digital platform Gain. Berk is now starting work on Disney Plus, like a growing number of his Turkish colleagues. Members of the media were also interested in his opinion on how Aras Bulut Iynemli will manage in the role of Ataturk and how he is preparing for this series.
Berk said that it would be better if they asked Aras about it, but that he didn't have an iota of doubt about him. Cankat added that he saw his colleague at rehearsals and that he is doing his best and has no doubt that he will do a great job on this project. As a reminder, the series Ataturk will be broadcast on Disney Plus in 2023, on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey.

In question are the series Dunya IIe Benim Aramda | Between the world and me, whose main actors are Demet Ozdemir, Hafsanur Sancaktutan, and Bugra Gulsoy, and the series Avci | The Hunter starring Pinar Deniz and Uraz Kaygilaroglu. In addition, in the coming period, we can expect the series Nomen, in which the main character will be brought to life by Halit Ergenc, and El Turco / The Turk, in which Can Yaman will portray a real historical figure. It doesn't end there, more news from Turkey related to Disney Plus is expected. The contract with this digital platform was also signed by the stars of the series Sen Cal Kapimi | You knock on my door, Hande Ercel, and Kerem Bursin, but also other famous Turkish actors.
