The full trailer for Netflix's sci-fi adventure "Spaceman" is out!

After Netflix published the first, very short teaser in mid-December last year, the full and slightly creepy trailer for the film "Spaceman" has finally been released. This sci-fi adventure is produced by Swedish director Johan Renck (Downloading Nancy, Chornobyl). It is an adventure SF drama based on the 2017 novel "Spaceman of Bohemia" by the Czech author Jaroslav Kalfař.

The script is written by Colby Day (I Don't Want to Kill Myself), and the director of photography is Jakob Ihre (Chornobyl, Dispatches from Elsewhere). Executive producers include Renck, Ben Ormand, and Barry Bernardi, while producers include Reid Carolin, Peter Kiernan, Michael Parets, Tim Headington, Lia Buman, Max Silva and Channing Tatum.

Following the plot of the source material, "Spaceman" follows the adventures of the Czech astronaut Jakub. After six months on a lonely research mission at the solar system's edge, Jakub realizes that the marriage he left behind may not be waiting for him when he returns to Earth. Desperate to fix things with his wife Lenka, he is helped by a mysterious creature. That creature is with him from the beginning and he found him hiding in the bowels of his ship. Hanuš works with Jakub to figure out what went wrong before it's too late.

The cast is one of the most intriguing things about this adaptation. Adam Sandler has already proven his dramatic abilities in projects such as "Hustle" and "Uncut Gems", and it seems that we will have something to see in this case as well. Other roles include Carey Mulligan (Maestro), as Jakub's pregnant wife Lenka,  Paul Dano (Dumb Money) as Hanush, a mysterious alien creature who befriends Jakub, Kunal Nayyar (The Big Bang Theory) as technician Peter, Isabella Rossellini (Blue Velvet) as Tuma, Jakub's commander and Lena Olin.

"I was completely blown away when I saw the film. I've watched it twice already. I think that all people out there who like weird things and weird art will be blown away by it.” - said Kalfar.

Spaceman will have its premiere as part of the Berlin Film Festival. It will arrive in selected cinemas on February 23, and on Netflix on March 1.
