Full Trailer for Pablo Schreiber's "Halo'" Series - Season 2 is out!

The first trailer for the second season of the "Halo"  series was presented during the panel at last year's CCXP, and now the full, action-packed official trailer has been released, as well as a new poster.

The trailer opens with a scary narration as scenes reveal the problems and daily lives of people on Reach. Flashes of Covenant forces foreshadow the battles to come, but it all begins with a terrifying encounter with Chief and elite forces on a desolate planet.

Although "Halo" became the most watched series on the Paramount Plus platform and despite favorable reviews from critics, it still causes some controversy. The decision of the creator of the series not to follow the exact plot of the popular video game series did not go down well with the fans. The controversy reached a fever pitch when it was announced that the show would break one of the franchise's most sacred rules and remove the Master Chef's helmet for much of the plot.

What can we expect?

In the second season, Master Chief John-117 leads a team of elite Spartans in the fight against an alien threat known as the Covenant. Following shocking events on a ravaged planet, John can't resist the feeling that the focus of his fight will soon change and risks everything to prove what no one believes - that the Covenant is about to attack humanity's greatest stronghold. With the galaxy on edge, John embarks on a journey to find the key to saving humanity or destroying it – Halo.

Pablo Schreiber (American Gods) returns in the role of Master Chief, as the main protagonist. Along with him, returning faces include Natascha McElhone (Californication) as Dr. Catherine Halsey, Jen Taylor (Halo) as Cortana, Bokeem Woodbine (Fargo) as Soren, Shabana Azmi (Fire) as Admiral Margaret Parangosky, Natasha Culzac (The Witcher) as Riz, Olive Gray (Half Moon Investigations) as Dr. Miranda Keyes, Yerin Ha (Reef Break) as Kwan Ha, Bentley Kalu (Avengers: Age of Ultron) as Vannak, Kate Kennedy(Catastrophe) as Kai, Charlie Murphy (Peaky Blinders ) as Makee and Danny Sapani (Penny Dreadful) as Captain Jacob Keyes. The new faces are Joseph Morgan (Vampire Diaries) as James Ackerson, Cristina Rodlo (No One Gets Out of Here Alive) as Talia Perez and Christina Bennington (Midsomer Murders).

The creators of the series are Steven Kane and Kyle Killen, and the showrunner of the second season is David Wiener (Fear the Walking Dead, Brave New World). Executive producers include Wiener, Schreiber, McElhone, Kiki Wolfkill, Gian Paolo Varani, Otto Bathurst, Toby Leslie, Steven Spielberg, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey.
The first two episodes of the second season will premiere on Paramount Plus on February 8.
