" Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" arrives in theaters!
The first official trailer for "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" is out!
The first trailer for "Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3" is out. Since the release of the first "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie in 2014, Marvel's goofy cast of cosmic heroes quickly became a hit! Following the sequel, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2", released in 2017, this team appeared in other Marvel productions such as "Avengers: Infinity War", "Avengers: Endgame" and "Thor: Love and Thunder". But it seems like that is coming to an end because, with this third sequel of the film "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3", we part with this team.
This first trailer emphasizes the bonds that unite the team consisting of Star-Lord (Chris Pratt, Jurassic World ), Nebula (Zoe Saldana, Avatar ), Drax (Dave Bautista, Blade Runner 2049 ), Groot (Vin Diesel, Fast and Furious saga ) and Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper, Nightmare Alley ).
After the events of "Avengers: Infinity War", the Gamora who joins Quill's team is not the same one who fell for him in the previous films. In addition to the return of Gamora, whoever she is, the film will also explore the origins of Rocket Raccoon, who has terrifying memories of his past. On top of the already existing melancholic elements, the upcoming film will introduce new threats with the character of Adam Warlock played by Will Poulter, and the High Evolutionary character played by Chukwudi Iwuji.
In the comics, Warlock is a powerful man whose purpose is to destroy the Guardians of the Galaxy. However, from everything known so far, it seems that the High Evolutionary will be the main villain in the film, as an ultra-intelligent being who created Rocket.
In the film, our beloved band of misfit heroes looks a little different. Peter Quill, still recovering from the loss of Gamora, must gather his team around him to defend the universe and protect one of them. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could very likely lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
Although this third part seems darker than the previous parts, it does not lack the characteristic humor we are used to. The contact scene with the inhabitants of the planet they landed on and the stunt with the ball is very strong. After all, what could go wrong?
"Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3" are arriving in our cinemas in May 2023.
