Gugu Mbatha-Raw wants to play Meghan Markle!

Gugu Mbatha-Raw, a 38-year-old British actress of extraordinary beauty, would not have turned down the role of Meghan Markle in the TV series 'Crown' if it had been offered

Mbatha-Raw admits that she would definitely 'consider' playing Meghan Markle in the acclaimed series 'The Crown', she revealed in an interview with 'Tatler'.

The beautiful Oxford-born actress who has starred in numerous films and TV series ('Bad Girls', 'Miss Sloane', 'The Morning Show', 'Doctor Who') said she would be really 'flattered' if she was offered that role.

In an interview with Tatler magazine in which she appeared in a glamorous issue, she explained that she would certainly 'consider' the opportunity if it arises, although no official casting has been made yet .

When asked how she would feel if she was offered a role after fans of the series just suggested her for the role, she exclaimed, ‘Oh my God, I would be very flattered. I would have to consider that, 'Gugu said.

Although she has never met Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, she added that she feels sympathy for them.

In the interview, she also said that it is clear to her why many Americans are fascinated by them.

'From the American side, that story looks like a fairy tale. I’m sure it’s not an easy life. Like we don't know half the real truth, but I respect that, 'she said.
