Harrison Ford injured while filming the new Indiana Jones film
He hurt his shoulder on the set!
Actor Harrison Ford injured his shoulder while filming a fight scene for the upcoming film Indiana Jones 5. Due to the injury, Ford goes on a short break from filming until he recovers, and in the meantime director, James Mangold will continue filming without him.
“During the filming of the fight scene Harrison Ford suffered a shoulder injury,” a Disney spokesman said.
“The filming schedule will be reconfigured as needed in the coming weeks,” he added.
This is not the first time Ford has been injured while filming a movie. In 2014, the actor was gripped and crushed by the heavy doors of the Millennium Falcon on the set of the seventh sequel to Star Wars, The Force Awakens.
The Disney-owned production company was then due to pay Ford £ 1.6 million in damages.
Indiana Jones 5 began filming earlier this month in the UK. Details about the film have not been released yet, but in addition to Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Mads Mikkelsen will also star in the film.
The release of the film has been delayed several times, and the latest information is that it should arrive in cinemas at the end of July next year, which is as much as 15 years after the last sequel from 2008, The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
