Hollywood says goodbye to James Caan
Many of Caan's colleagues said goodbye to the famous actor on social networks.
Actor James Caan, best remembered for the films "The Godfather" and "Brian's Song", died yesterday at the age of 82. This news saddened his fans all over the planet. Famous director Francis Ford Coppola announced his death. He collaborated with James on the films "The Godfather" and "The Rain People".
“James was someone who "stretched" through my life much further and closer than any movie character I've ever known. From collaborating on the film "The Rain People" and through all the milestones in my life, James' films and the roles he played are what will never be forgotten. He will always be my old friend, my collaborator, and one of the funniest people I've ever known," Coppola said.
On the official Twitter account of the "Godfather" franchise, in which Caan made a strong impression, a tweet with the following content was published: “In memory of the legendary James Caan. Rest in peace.”
Many of Caan's colleagues said goodbye to the famous actor on social networks. Adam Sandler wrote that James was his role model. “James Caan. I loved him very much. I always wanted to be like him. I am happy to have met him. I never stopped smiling when I was around that man. His films were the best of the best. We will all miss him terribly. I'm thinking of his family and sending love," Sandler wrote.
