How to straighten clothes without an iron
If you do not have an iron on hand, boil water in a metal bowl, and after the water boils, pour out the water. You will use the bottom of the pot instead of the iron on your garment and the results will be the same

The worst is when you’re getting ready for some important event, and your shirt or pants are crumpled and you don’t have time to iron them. But there is an effective solution to this situation. Learn how to iron clothes without using an iron below.
Some of these methods are likely to surprise you, and some will be especially helpful on your travels.
1. Iron clothes in the dryer
You can also remove wrinkles from clothes by just putting them in the dryer. First, check the symbols on the garment labels to determine if it is safe to dry them in the machine. If you can, spray the clothes with water and put them in the dryer with a damp object or two (like wet socks). You can even throw a few ice cubes in the dryer. As they melt, they will release steam to help smooth out creases on clothing. Put the crumpled clothes in the dryer for about 15 minutes on medium heat.
2. Use a hairdryer
Lay the wrinkled object on a flat surface and ‘dry’ it with hot air from a hairdryer. Hold the hairdryer a few inches above the fabric and dry the front and back of the garment. The wrinkles will soon disappear before your eyes. You can spray or apply a few drops of water to the item before drying it to soften it.
3. Straighten the creases in the shower
Hang the crumpled item in the bathroom and turn on the shower and the hottest water. Close the door to create a sauna effect. Check the clothes in about 10 minutes, but keep in mind that this can take up to 20 minutes for the wrinkles to disappear completely. If you hang a garment on the shower bar, make sure the showerhead is facing away from the clothing to prevent it from getting wet.
4. A hair straightener also helps
The hair straightener works very well on stubborn creases, especially in areas that are difficult to iron such as collars and sleeves. Just make sure the iron is not rusty, stained with hair products, or has hair on it. Also, pay attention to the heat settings and pressure you are using. You don’t want to damage clothes or get burned.
5. And a damp towel will help
This is a very simple method, and it works really well. Place a damp towel over a wrinkled garment on a flat surface. Press and smooth the deep folds with your hands. Hang the garment to air dry. Before going to an event, make sure there are no stray hairs from the towel and remove them.
6. Get an anti-wrinkle spray
Always keep a bottle of professional anti-wrinkle spray in your bathroom. There are several brands that hold these products, and you can find them in drugstores or online stores. Just spray the spray on the clothes and in the blink of an eye the wrinkles will flatten out.
7. Try vinegar spray
You can also make your own anti-wrinkle spray using white vinegar. It is a cheap and gentle chemical-free alternative. Spray the wrinkled clothes with a mixture of vinegar and water in a ratio of 1: 3, and then leave it to air dry. Vinegar is great for laundry because it acts as a natural deodorant and cleans clothes.
8. Flatten the folds with a teapot
Don't have a steam iron on hand? Learn how to remove wrinkles from clothes with a teapot. Boil water in a teapot, then hold the garment about a meter from the steam and the wrinkles will soon disappear.
9. Make a pot iron
Boil water in a metal pan, and after the water boils, pour out the water. You will use the bottom of the pot instead of the iron on your garment. However, make sure the bottom of the pot is clean and be careful as the bottom of the pot will be very hot.
10. Put clothes under the mattress
Lay the garment on a flat surface, straighten the creases, and then roll it up like a burrito. Push your fabric burrito under the mattress and wait 15 to 30 minutes. When you remove it, there will be no more wrinkles!
