Recently, Apple officially released the latest version of macOS called Monterey for compatible MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Pro, and Mac mini devices.
Recently, Apple officially released the latest version of macOS called Monterey compatible with MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Pro, and Mac mini devices. The latest version of macOS brings a number of new features such as Quick Note - capturing quick notes in the Notes application, Live Text - scanning text live and the ability to transfer content from iPhone and iPad using AirPlay.
But on social media, primarily on Apple’s support forum, a number of users report that their MacBook doesn’t turn on at all after upgrading to macOS Monterey. The problem seems to apply only to older models that are equipped with Intel processors. There is currently no information that the endangered models are equipped with an Apple M1 processor.
Therefore, if you are using any of the MacBook devices with an Intel processor, we would recommend that you postpone the upgrade to macOS Monterey.
