Is it possible?! Jennifer Aniston is helping her ex-husband Brad Pitt reconcile with Angelina

It’s been five years since Hollywood’s most famous divorce began - the one between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, which is reputed to be one of the longest and ‘most toxic’ divorce lawsuits in Hollywood history.

Last week, Angelina received the green light to sell her stake in Chateau Miraval - a French estate and vineyard worth $ 164 million, which she shares with Brad Pitt.

Just days earlier, the famous actor, who has so far been largely silent about the details of ending their marriage, called his ex-wife 'vindictive' in new court documents over her alleged attempt to deny him the right of first purchase

Insiders say Pitt is now ready to clear his name because he believes Angelina Jolie has denigrated him. Namely, when filing for divorce in September 2016, she accused Brad of being drunk and of physically abusing his then 15-year-old son Maddox during their fierce quarrel on a private plane. Pitt dismissed the charges, the court also acquitted him, but Brad admitted that he ‘drank too much’ during that period and that he attended Alcoholics Anonymous for 18 months.

"From day one, Brad feels that Angelina has some mission of her own to destroy him and present him as the main villain. He thinks her statements and court documents have portrayed him in a very bad light," a source close to the actor told Closer, adding: "Although Brad has done his best to be dignified to the end and is silent, he is now determined to clarify the whole thing after their divorce is over. He wants an opportunity for an interview in which he would clear his name and repair some of the damage he believes Angelina inflicted on him. He doesn't want to look like an embittered ex-husband, but wants to remain dignified but honest to the end, as much as possible."

Although Pitt has held a series of interviews since breaking up with Angelina, during all of them he has largely avoided the divorce. Meanwhile, Angelina had a handful of comments and statements in which she spoke negatively about her ex-husband, and among other things, she stated that she feared for the safety of the whole family and that she needed 'a lot of strength to pull herself out of the position she found herself in."

And so the name of the most famous TV presenter, who could be Brad's first choice for a long-awaited interview, is slowly being introduced into the whole story. Brad had his first live interview in front of a TV audience back in 1998, on the Oprah show, and returned to the Oprah Winfrey studio in 2004 after the filming of 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith ', where he met and allegedly fell in love with Angelina Jolie while he was still married to his first wife Jennifer AnistonHe came to Oprah again in 2008 when they talked about becoming a parent.

Since he reconciled with his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston more than a decade after their divorce, sources say that it was Jennifer who quietly encouraged her ex-husband to talk about everything and wash the stain off his name.

"Jenn knows how painful it all is for Brad, and she's also been a guest on the Oprah show many times and is in regular contact with Oprah - more than Brad, who has only seen her a few times. She suggested he talk to her first, with which Brad agreed,” the source said.

"Although Brad was able to go directly to Oprah, he is grateful for Jenna's support and it means a lot to him that he knows he has her support when it comes to that interview where he would finally talk about everything. Jennifer believes that if he does it well, the move could help Brad and Angelina and give them a more harmonious relationship," a source close to the Hollywood stars told Closer.
