Is "The Crown" more favorable to Diana than to Charles
Why is the Camille series no longer entertaining?
In the fifth season, the princess's scandals were ignored.
Camilla Packer, the wife of King Charles, watched previous episodes of "The Crown" and found them entertaining, writes "Vanity Fair", while the then Prince Charles "secretly" watched them and once joked at his own expense at a public event, saying "I'm not really the way they show me in "The Crown".
How much the fifth season of "The Crown" harms the image of King
The fifth season of "The Crown" received 100 million hours of streaming in its first week.
The concern today is how much the fifth season will harm King Charles' reputation, barely two months after he got to the throne.
- I don't see anything positive here - says Sally Bedell Smith, author of biographies of Diana, Charles, and Queen Elizabeth.
- The fifth season leans more toward Diana than Charles. Diana's affairs with royal security guard Barry Manaki, James Hewitt, who is speculated to be Harry's father, and Oliver Hoare, for whom she was accused of harassing him by "calling him 300 times a day", are left out.
While the series includes a shocking conversation between Charles and Camilla in which he says he "would like to be in her pants," the conversation between Diana and James Gilby is omitted, which took place in 1992, while the princess and Prince Charles were still married, and a transcript of the conversation was published in the media.
Gilby expressed his feelings for Dajana during the conversation.
- It seems that the mythology of Diana is stronger than ever - says Bedell Smith.
- For most viewers, it is impossible to untangle, and his fantasies become an accepted reality. Even when he has transcripts from real life, he extravagantly invents - believes Bedel.
However, as he points out, the real headaches for the king are just coming when Prince Harry published his memoirs in January.
New details from the life of Charles and Camilla in the sixth season of "The Crown"
The recently concluded fifth season of "The Crown," which spans ninety years, brought a slew of intriguing stories and characters, but also one very interesting scene at the end of the episode "The Way Forward" of Prince Charles break dancing at a charity event, which actually occurred, albeit in the 1980s.
Dominic West, who plays Charles in the fifth and sixth seasons, announced another Charles dance sequence.

It's about Camilla Parker's 50th birthday party, which took place just a month before Princess Diana's tragic death.
The birthday party itself will be depicted in the series as a lavish evening, complete with a tent, palm trees, a birthday cake, and a last joint dance.
- Olivia was so funny, in that joint dance. While I was thinking about who it reminds me of, I remembered that it reminds me of the famous dance by Theresa May - West told, what the joint dance with Camilla looks like performed by the actress Olivia Williams, who plays her.
