Johnny Depp donated money!

The 'trial of the year', as the media called it, is behind us, but that doesn't mean that the drama between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is over.

Johnny didn't care too much about winning the court and the failed marriage, but Amber, it seems, is not able to forget, nor are her lawyers who are ready to continue the trial. Namely, the legal team of the famous actress submitted a request for annulment of the verdict, but also for a retrial. They did this last Friday, and they believe that the verdict against their client is not supported by evidence. Also, the request states that one juror was not checked as it should have been, so the question arose of whether he should have been there at all.

On the 43 pages of the explanation, it is also stated that during the trial, Depp impliedly denied the defamation by his ex-wife, but he never said that her words were a lie.

Soon, Depp's lawyer came forward and gave a short comment: 'We expected this and it is not of any importance, '.

Johnny, on the other hand, has now dealt an indirect blow to his ex, and we have no doubt that this action has earned him even greater support from the public. Namely, the actor donated about 800 thousand dollars to various institutions, among them the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles, to which Amber previously promised to donate seven million dollars that she received from Johnny Depp in the settlement after the divorce in 2016.

Then she promised to donate the money to charity and divide it between two organizations: the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the aforementioned hospital. It was widely rumored before that neither the ACLU nor the hospital had ever seen Amber's donation, and she confirmed it in court, justifying herself that Depp's lawsuit demanding $50 million from her got in the way.

'I still fully intend to honor all my promises. I would like him to stop suing me,' she said.
