Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse in the trailer for the horror comedy "Lisa Frankenstein"!

After several teasers, we finally have the complete official trailer for the horror comedy "Lisa Frankenstein", a modern version of the classic story! Zelda Williams ' directorial debut is a completely new catch on Mary Shelley's classic story, adapted for the big screen by Diablo Cody ( Tully, Body of Jennifer, Juno ).

What can we expect?

The heading role features Kathryn Newton, who brings a dead body back to life ( Cole Sprouse ), after which the duo develop feelings for each other and embark on a deadly spree.
It is a story for young people set in a high school where we find a misunderstood teenager Lisa who has fallen in love with a handsome corpse. After several failed attempts to revive him, one of them succeeds and now we have two misunderstood teenagers, one of whom is a corpse, trying to understand love, the world and each other. Sounds interesting and unusual.

Here is the official synopsis:

‘’In 1989, a misunderstood teenage goth girl named Lisa Swallows reanimates a handsome corpse from the Victorian era during a lightning storm and starts to rebuild him into the man of her dreams by using a broken tanning machine in her garage. After going through a playfully horrific transformation, the romantic duo embark on a murderous journey to find true love, happiness, and a few missing body parts along the way.’’

In addition to Newton, who we recently saw in the role of Cassie Lang in "Ant-Man" and "Wasp: Quantum Mania", other roles are played by Carla Gugino, Liza Soberano, Joe Chrest, and Henry Eikenberry.
The horror comedy "Lisa Frankenstein" arrives in American theaters on February 9, while the premiere date in other parts will be a little later, on February 22. We are sure you will enjoy it!
